Our Facilities

Eagle Crest Camp boasts some of the finest facilities in the camping and retreat center industry.  We often hear remarks from visitors and guests like, "These are the nicest cabins and lodge rooms we have ever seen at a camp," "Look at this kitchen! Amazing!" and "I never expected a camp to have a state of the art meeting hall like Crest Hall."  We want to to go from being the best kept secret in the Peoria area to being the destination of choice for churches, schools, families, clubs, scouts, businesses, outdoor lovers, proms, homecomings, reunions, picnics, pool parties, recreation, weddings, trainings, pastor sabbaticals, youth groups, and, of course, camps!

We understand that the success of a retreat or event at camp has much to do with the quality of our guests' sleeping arrangements, dining experience, and the quality of the meeting spaces available to use.

Sleep

After a full day of recreation, fellowship, eating, and meetings we know you want a good night's sleep before the next day's activities or your trip home.  At Eagle Crest Camp you have four choices of sleeping accomodations based upon the comfort level desired and your budget.

Cabin Style

  • We have 5 large, all-season, bunk-house style cabins each with two totally separate sides (for easy boy/girl separation under one roof; without fear of violating any child safety rules).

  • Up to 20 people can sleep on each side of the cabin.

  • Each side of each cabin room has a semi-private "counselor" room.

  • The two Eagle's Nest Cabins have end-rooms that sleep 1-4 guests; there is a private bathroom in each.

  • The Outer Cabins are nestled along the forest line yet still close to all the main camp areas.

  • Maximum sleeping capacity for all cabins is 228 guests.

Hotel Style

  • Our Heartland Lodge has 22 motel-style rooms each with a private bathroom/shower and two 2-bedroom apartments each with a kitchenette.

  • Each lodge room and apartment can comfortably accomodate between 1-4 guests.

  • Great for those guests that aren't big fans of tent or cabin life!

Housing Options

  • Our nicest facilities by far are the two full and complete houses.
  • Each has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, and laundry facilities.
  • Great for group leaders.
Tenting Option
  •

We also have a beautiful tent camping area nestled in our woods complete
with electrical outlets and bathroom/shower houses.
There are 12 campsites with three bathhouses.
Eat

The second thing that can make or break an event is the food.  Whether we cook for you or you prepare food yourself, the kitchen and dining hall facilities are very large and accomodating.  Our kitchen is a cook's paradise!  conventional ovens, convection ovens, grills, stainless steel food prep stations, deep-fryer, steam tables, large walk-in coolers and freezers, large pantry, and a very nice industrial dishwashing room.  Our dining hall can seat 150-200 diners comfortably.  The dining hall has a built in sound system, restrooms, salad bar, and drink stations.

Meet

Finally, every successful retreat, event, or meeting must have adequate meeting facilities.  We provide one complimentary meeting room for each group with their lodging based upon the size of the group. Others are available as needed.

  • Crest Hall (Capacity 300+) - Our largest meeting room is actually an all-purpose facility that can be set up as a chapel, an auditorium, a table-seating training room complete with state of the art computer controlled AV system, multiple retractable screens, four projectors (two forward/two on back wall), sound and light boards, theater lighting, spot lights, stage, podiums, wireless and wired microphones,etc...you get the idea!  Also Crest Hall has six classrooms that can be accessed from both inside the hall or from outside the building.  Perfect for breakout rooms, Sunday school, or other times when you need smaller rooms.  Each classroom has a wall mounted TV/DVD and Whiteboard.  Capacity of each classroom is approximately 25.  Crest Hall has a large foyer with restooms.

  • Eagles Nest 1 & 2 (Capacity 50 in each) - These are fireplace rooms complete with wall mounted TV/DVD and whiteboards.  Each has a unisex restroom and a small station with a minifridge, sink, and countertop.  Very cozy.
  • Cuckoo's Nest (Capacity 25) - is a building that is always open and available for our groups to use at no extra charge (except for the bedroom!).  There is a health center available for your health care provider to use (if requested); an office space available to use as your group's headquarters or that can be used as an extra meeting room; a lounge in which you can rest, relax, and fellowship; and a laundry room.

  • Koehler's Landing (Capacity 25) - is our recreational hall that is always available for use at no extra charge.  There is a restroom, arts and crafts area, pool table, carpetball table, ping pong table, fooseball and airhockey tables, and an outdoor recreation closet.

  • Campfire Areas (Capacity 150 each) - Two outdoor meeting areas each with fire pit, stage, and rustic bench seating.  Only charge is if you want us to build and take care of the fire...otherwise, no additional charge to use these.
